He was a great sufi of his time and a scholar of extra ordinary credibilities.
He has written Few books. 'Asharul Marifat' was his book on the subject of Sufism, published on 1340 Bangla year. His other two books called- Hedayetul Latif and Chishtia Shahnama Kobita.

His Teacher or Pir was Syed Sana Ullah Shah of Torof (chondro-cori) Hobigonj. We can hear him mentioning his pir's name in this song as-'Chondro-cori'r Syed-jada Sanai Ullah'r nam'. ...
